Two-day Disaster Management and Safety Awareness Training conducted by the Shri Brahma Samaj Seva Trust. It covered a range of topics including the importance of Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM), fire safety, CPR, building collapse, search and rescue operations, and dealing with burn injuries and chemical accidents. The sessions also focused on Gujarat’s vulnerability to natural disasters like earthquakes, floods, and cyclones, and provided hands-on training in first aid and emergency response. The training aimed to enhance preparedness, build community resilience, and improve response coordination. Key recommendations for future preparedness include regular mock drills, community awareness programs, and collaboration with local authorities for effective disaster management.
