Samajik Samrasta Shibir – Patan was successfully organized at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Bhavan, Patan, with the objective of promoting unity, brotherhood, and social harmony among different sections of society. The program began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony and welcome address, followed by insightful speeches from distinguished guests and social leaders. The speakers highlighted the importance of equality, mutual respect, and cooperation beyond differences of caste, religion, and economic status. Various social initiatives and welfare activities were also shared during the event. The shibir focused on eliminating discrimination, strengthening social values among the younger generation, and building a peaceful, progressive, and inclusive society. The event concluded with a collective message of unity and a strong commitment toward social justice and harmony.

The Objectives of the Scheme are:

  • i) To promote social harmony among all sections of society by encouraging unity, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence beyond differences of caste, religion, language, gender, and economic background.
  • ii) To eliminate social discrimination, untouchability, inequality, and injustice by spreading awareness about equal rights, equal opportunities, and human dignity for every individual.
  • iii) To strengthen the spirit of brotherhood, cooperation, and collective responsibility so that people work together for the overall development of society.
  • iv) To create awareness about the importance of social justice and constitutional values, ensuring that every citizen feels respected and included in the mainstream of society.
  • v) To nurture social and moral values among the younger generation, motivating them to actively participate in building a united, peaceful, and progressive nation.
  • vi) To encourage dialogue, understanding, and positive social interaction among different communities in order to build a stable, inclusive, and socially responsible society.

Prospective Vocational Programs:

  • i) To introduce skill-based training programs that enhance employability and promote self-reliance among youth and women through practical and industry-relevant learning opportunities.
  • ii) To provide vocational training in areas such as tailoring and embroidery, computer literacy, retail and office management, beauty and wellness, handicrafts, and small-scale entrepreneurship based on local and market needs.
  • iii) To bridge the gap between formal education and employment by equipping participants with job-oriented skills and hands-on experience.
  • iv) To encourage self-employment and small business development, enabling individuals to generate sustainable income and achieve financial independence.
  • v) To integrate soft skills, personality development, communication skills, and digital literacy to prepare participants for modern workplace requirements.
  • vi) To contribute to community development and social upliftment by creating skilled, confident, and economically empowered individuals.
